I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home where Christ was talked about often and I entered into a personal relationship with Jesus as a young child.  During my high school years I was involved in Immanuel’s youth group and became really passionate about my faith.  My faith became my own, and not something that I did because of my parents or those around me.

I am so excited to be working with the youth group I grew up in. My experience as a student at Immanuel was a very important part of my development as a person and follower of Jesus Christ.
I love that I now get to share the love I developed for Christ in a ministry that has meant so much to me personally. My heart’s desire is that God will continue to work in the lives of the students in our ministry and develop them into men and women who will follow passionately after Him.

I am the oldest of five kids and love spending time with my siblings, my mom, and our crazy dog, Splash. I graduated from the College of William and Mary with a degree in History, but my passion is really spending time with people who will one day make history in their own way.

Other interesting things about me are:

• I was born on Christmas day (isn’t it cool that the whole world celebrates on my birthday?)
• I love to laugh (giggling is probably a more accurate description).
• I really don’t know what I want to be when I grow up (if I ever really grow up at all) .
• It took almost 23 years of life for me to eat a Twinkie (which I did not like).
